National Sales Manager

I. Job Description

The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading, maintaining, managing, and growing business where Art Force offerings are appropriate while meeting and exceeding sales team quotas. The National Sales Manager selects and manages the employees of the Art Consulting Sales Department and the Business Development Department in the development and delivery of art, capabilities presentations, and project management services for Art Force as well as external customers and channel partners. The National Sales Manager actively participates in outreach activities, lead generation and follow up through discovery meetings and capabilities presentations in the marketing of services to existing and potential customers. The individual serving in this position will be a member of the Art Force leadership team and will be responsible for managing, tracking, and holding the consulting and business development staff accountable. We have a dedicated Marketing and Lead Generation Department that will support you in approaching new clients, scheduling meetings, giving presentations and coordinating with project teams.

 

II. Essential Responsibilities

  • – Responsibility for achieving Art Force sales revenue goals
  • – Adherence to Art Force Mission and Values
  • – Coordination of AC & BD team revenue goals, BD activity, project assignment and results
  • – Participate in the compensation plan development with senior management
  • – Budget responsibility for marketing expense allocation and ROI
  • – Accountability for individual and team performance
  • – Recruiting and training of sales staff
  • – Assure that Art Force products and services are being presented in accordance with company policy
  • – Assure project management processes are being adhered to
  • – Hold performance reviews and facilitate individual goal setting
  • – Provide management and leadership in alignment with Art Force leadership model
  • – Oversee market intelligence, CRM and lead generation tools and processes
  • – Fiercely protecting company trade secrets and intellectual property

III. Qualifications

  • – Candidates must have at least five years of successful B2B sales experience and sales management experience
  • – Candidate must have at least five year of successful management experience as well as proven success in hitting sales quotas
  • – Must have a proven track record of closing new business, time management, organizational skills, and management skills
  • – Strong customer service skills, including the ability to remain flexible in high pressure or continually changing situations
  • – Strong networking skills is a must
  • – Proficiency with basic computer applications, e.g., MS Office, Excel, basic computer skills, and CRM
  • – B.A. or B.S. in Sales (Sales Management, Professional Selling), Management, or Business preferred
  • – Ability to travel at least 30% of the time and have flexible working hours based on meetings and client needs
